Well, I'm seasoned in both NLP and Haskell, as well as doing corpus linguistics
with Haskell, so maybe I can help?

I found the Stanford courses on ML and DBs pretty good, and Manning and Jurafsky
might indeed churn out a pretty decent course as well.
