Hi guys,
I'm currently a masters student / researcher in the NLP field. Specifically,
information retrieval and categorization. I'm very new to Haskell but I can
definitely sense (from what I've read) that it can be a very powerful tool
for data-driven programming. Currently I use Python a lot and I've used some
of it's functional programming methods because sometimes it's just the best
tool for the job. However, I would like to explore those concepts more in a
purely functional language and see what I can do with it.
I am currently doing a maximum entropy application for named-entity
extraction and I was wondering if anyone has approached that modeling
approach using Hakell?
Regards,
Adnan
